I was excited to hear this new song but wasn’t expecting this to be what I’ve waited 20 years for! This song shines light on Shania’s power house voice like her Up album did. I was so happy to hear the old Shania again! I started crying because it moved me so much in a good way and I’m just so freaking happy she’s truly back. I think this is her “it moment” coming! She’s such a talented and still underrated singer. She’s Absolutely a unique talent and this song definitely shows that. She has a voice like no other. To anyone, on here, who thinks that Shania Twain, is a "has been", needs to hear her new song. I didn't even know that she had new music out. "Waking Up Dreaming" is the type of song that I enjoy listening to. It's, catchy and bouncy and her voice is back!!!. If this is ANY INDICTATION of what her new music is going to be like, then, 2023, is going to bring back the type of music, that made me go out and buy it. I have been disappointed with music of ALL GENRES!!!. Music should come from the heart and the voice. Music is about "inner strength" and "feelings".
