Human Overboard

I listened to his songs “Believe Me” and “Where We’re Going,” and I was sold. Been a fan of his show, Good Mythical Morning, with Link Neil, along with other shows and podcasts, and I had known he was a funny, down to earth lad, but I had no idea he was a great singer/songwriter! There are only a few singer/songwriters that grab my attention, and Rhett definitely got my attention! Be on the lookout for this lad! Future Grammy winner here!

This album stirred some deep emotions in me. I heard lyrics that perfectly and poetically said things I didn’t know anyone else felt. That’s what art is for. Thank you for sharing your beautiful and deeply honest art with us all.

I’m a huge fan of Rhett & Link, I’ve been watching them since 2010. So, of course I had to give this an album a listen and I loved it. I showed it to my boyfriend, who doesn’t know much about Rhett and Link (and I didn’t explain to him that James and the Shame was Rhett’s solo project) and he kept talking about how much he loved the album and how it reminded him of the “old country” that he enjoys. He added saved the album to his Spotify. I’m glad he enjoyed it as well. We collect vinyl records together and if this were released on vinyl that would be awesome to add it to our collection!

This album is the best thing to come out this entire year, and literally brought me to tears because Im struggling with the similar situations right now in my life. 10/10 Rhett. Thank you for being an inspiration in so many ways.

James and The Shame is an incredible band. The music they create and the lyrics Rhett sings is honestly some of the best and the most honest I’ve ever heard. Please keep up the good work.

This album reminded me more of the Country Sound we had back in the 90’s/00’s and i’ve missed it so much. His voice made me nostalgic and emotional. These songs lyrics were also beautiful and the subject matter all too relatable. I’m so happy to have stumbled upon this album and I can’t wait to play it into the ground. highly recommend!

Love the album it has a lot of heart and soul in it, and for me was highly relatable, knowing the backstory gives it an even deeper meaning, you can feel he poured himself into this music.
