There are some good highlights here, especially the tracks with Iommi and Zakk but the album feels uneven. A big part of that has to die with the lack of a studio effort from a ‘band’. The use of session musicians gives it a disjointed feel with a lack of cohesion. Once again it’s over produced, feeling more like a pop album at times than a hard rock album. Outside songwriters also contribute to that. Zakk shreds on his tracks whic is very welcome and familiar feeling and the collaborations with Tony have that grand Sabbath feel which is great to hear. Overall however it’s just too slick and polished. No More Tears was the last really solid Ozzy Album from start to finish.
  • Embarrassing.

Let Zakk write. Or bring back Jake and let Jake write. Enough with the hired writers. This is awful!

Zakk Wylde's riffs and licks are what brings the album to life. PERIOD. Ozzy sounds great, but the non-Zakk Wylde tracks are just average Ozzy, which is not bad. But when Zakk comes in, things are on fire. There is something magic about Ozzy and Zakk together. Sharon needs to PAY Zakk and lets get one more album. ALL OZZY, ALL ZAKK, get Blasko (Rob Nicholson) and maybe Jason Bonham on the drums. Put together 8 or 10 six minute killer songs and go out on a high note. I enjoyed the Tony Iommi track, the Eric Clapton track was out of place. It's like putting a Van Halen solo in an Adele song. Doesn't work. Jeff Beck is underwhelming. I've never understood his appeal ever. I have no idea who Mike McCready is, his track was average. I will say this: This album is 100x better than Ozzy's last album, Ordinary Man, (featuring Elton John and Post Malone...) Again, 100% Zakk Wylde made this record.
