I’m not a fan of Sliversun Pickups. Sure, I’ve heard a few songs by them, namely Panic Switch, which I think is great, but I’ve not listened to any albums by them. Until now… …I bought this album recently for reasons I won’t go into. I listened to it front to back last night for the first time and loved every second. It sounds like an instant classic. The production is outstanding. The songwriting is excellent, and there are some many incredibly poignant moments here. Beautiful… This album will be on repeat for the foreseeable future, and I will be checking out their discography in the months to come. This is the gateway album into Silversun Pickups for me. Better late than never!

This is an amazing album. The negative reviews are totally insane..... This album is classic Silversun Pickups, but throws in some great twists and turns. Who in their right mind wants the same sounding album every time. This band is at its peak.... One reviewer said that there a few good songs, and like seven or ten that are bad. What a joke.... If you are a fan, you should love it. If you are new to SSPU, welcome.... dive in and enjoy each and every album. This is one of the rare bands that has not released a bad song. this is top notch.

The new upbeat songs and keys and really nice. A bit easier for me to listen to and play on repeat. SSPU are a legends. I love their transitions over the years.

I’ve been a huge fan of SSPU since the days of Lazy Eye being on a loop on Fuse. This is their first album to ever leave me unsatisfied. Empty Nest and Alone On A Hill are amazing. However the only other okay songs are Stillness and Sticks and Stones. The other seven actual songs are terrible. It’s a shame. I never thought this band would let me down.

To be honest I haven’t given this enough listens. But it does not draw me in like their other albums. Sadly seems like their least desirable effort to date. Can’t help but be disappointed because I have such high expectations for SSPU.

This is one of their best in awhile. This band and their chemistry has always been the core power of their music and it’s clear their bond is as strong as ever. Layers and layers and sounds and emotions in this sonic roller coaster and Nikki’s voice makes this bands latest release one for the record books.

I love the direction of the last two albums since working with Butch Vig. I’d say physical thrills is their most concept album in style to date. If that’s not your thing, well too bad! You need to enjoy the record from beginning to end in one listen to really appreciate the body of work. So think before posting a one star review because of ONE SONG. Great work! You’re really pushing the envelope and it’s nice to really hear Joe Lester shine on this record!

This is their best album since Neck of The Woods. I think they’ve finally perfected their new sound. Cannot wait for the tour!

sspu has always been one of my favorite bands. while I personally prefer pikul, carnavas, and swoon over most of the later songs, I have yet to be flat-out disappointed. the new single isn’t bad by any means, and I sincerely hope that the other songs will be good.
