Been listening since The Upsides, and the band’s evolution shines through every minute of this record. It’s enthralling to listen to, to see the culmination of all the years of vast experience both in life and songwriting finally come to fruition with this carefully crafted masterpiece of an album. The vocal melodies here are so strongly defined, something that you can clearly see articulated as TWY’s discography grows. I miss the gang vocals, but I know shouting these lyrics in the pit with everyone else is still going to have the emotional impact I’ve come to associate with this band, their fans, and the distinct experience of seeing them perform live. Can’t wait to experience The Hum in person.

Truly another great album by these guys. Don’t listen to Laura and the Beehive until you’re ready though. It’s just too much.
