No one needs your lengthy reviews to validate purchasing. The music sells itself. Either you like it or you don't. In my opinion, this is another great record, but Megadeth died when the rest of the band passed on quit or was fired, but somehow Dave has conducted his hired guns in harnessing his signature sound. That's what more amazing here. Also, MEGADETH IS WAY BETTER THAN METALICRAP un I mean Metallica. Always has been, always will be, even with hired guns, and even while Dave is visibly deteriorating away before us, he manages to write this masterpiece.
  • The most Megedeth Megadeth release since their golden era of the 90's!!!

Easily the best Megadeth offering since the Friedman albums! This album and the accompanying videos stand on their own. Super strong release by Mustaine and the "new" Megadeth! Real, old school metal fans should be pleased.

I want to be 100% honest, not counting the singles , and listening to the album for the very first time on my crappy car speakers I was a little disappointed. No way I would not give my favorite band another chance. Listening through the record many many times now I’m hooked. The title track is so catchy, dogs of Chernobyl is an awesome track! Mission to mars is also a different typical megadeth song I love to listen to. Overall this album is head and shoulders above there last couple albums. Megadeth absolutely crushed it !

Leave it to Dave & his crew to create another metal masterpiece! I implore, that this album is another Grammy worthy album, like the previous Dystopia. Right on Mustaine! Way to write, & make something all of us in the metal community, can be proud of & share with the world that — METAL IS NOT DEAD!!!

Does it sound as good as Dystopia? No. The mix is better with Dolby Atmos mix, granted. It took me a few listens to get used to the tone of the album and the songs sounding the way they do. I figured at least 3 listens would be good before writing a review. At first listen, the musicianship is quite good. Drumming is excellent. Guitar work is great.... vocals? Well, it's Megadeth so don't expect melodies there. But that's fine. I never do. Aside from Dogs of Chernobyl and Sacrifice (?), the rest of the album is great. Those two tracks are OK but it seems like they were added as filler. I bought this on Vinyl and while I'm annoyed a little that the two bonus tracks weren't included, Apple Music let me hear them when this first came out and they're good covers. I did enjoy those. Is this another Rust in Peace? No. Is it like how Youthenasia was after Countdown? Yeah, kind of. Still good though in both cases. But a definite good album here... is it perfect? Of course not. But before you judge the album, give it a good few listens and you'll find that it's better than you may think after the first listen. It's still Megadeth... and Dave & co are still putting out decent records and without the Metallica's excess of songs you'd be bored at listening to live. If I had any gripe on the vinyl, they should've put the album on 3 sides instead of 4. I think they could've made it happen.... and then put the two bonus tracks on side 4. But no stars off for that.... that's just my 2c there.
