What a rich landscape you paint with your songs and your arrangements. Bravo! Nice to find an artist who keeps growing.

She sounds like everyone else now. I have a few of her older songs in my library, Light On being one of them. That’s when she was herself and not the industry’s puppet. Shame on her for selling out! 👎👎👎👎👎

Maggie has an incredible voice, but this new album clutters the purity of her vocal ability. So much pressure now on artists to stand out or try something raw, edgy or new. For me, Maggie should fall back to her gorgeous beginnings. In a perfect world, I rather hear Maggie sing a cappella or with only a guitar. That’s how beautiful her voice is. Clouding up her lyrics and vocal beauty with this loud edgy track music confuses me. I am struggling to find a song I want to download on this new album. I feel like this album is more of a journey for Maggie that she wants to take, but I hope one day she goes down my favorite path again.

This is an awful record. Replace the vocal with any superficial singer... Maggie has recreated gibberish, unsubstantial, radio schlock...

Absolutely superb! And she doesn’t need 24 songwriters.

Why doesn’t she have a low review? because people that listen to or know of her aren’t lowlifes that give a one star review off of something they never heard nor gave a chance to and I’m jealous of that go to any other female singer and all you see are those choppy btces ,which why I’m this album giving 5 stars
  • It's.....fine. It's just fine.

Supported by some very strong singles, the rest of this album is fairly forgettable. Yeah, yeah - feral joy, how do we deal with big emotions in a world gone mad. Blah, blah, blah. The album is loud and brash, and has BIG THOUGHTS about GROWNUP STUFF, and a strange need for the artist to warble at weird moments. The audio design has her far too loud in some tracks, and drowned out by the punk-y guitars and bold percussion in others. Pick a lane, Mr. Producerman. I had really high hopes for this album. Her debut EP and first LP are a couple of my favorites, but this didn't feel like a departure from where she started so much as it felt like a rejection of where she'd been. Disappointing stuff.
