This is not the band they used to be. I do understand all the five star reviews. Go back and listen to their first 3 albums not this pop synth over produced so called music. Then tell me I’m wrong. So disappointed. They’ve lost their rock mojo.
How does he continue to write songs about the struggles of real life.
A Strong Effort
A number of good sounds here. This one is worth a listen :)A little less electronic interludes, and I would download it immediately.
I used to love Shinedown but they continue to release this horrible garbage for the last few years and got away from who they were. Very disappointing!
Another great album!
Shinedown never disappoints!! My son & I love this album! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Biggest letdown of 2022
Why did Shinedown go from talented vocal performances to whatever drivel this is?
Strip it back down, lose the background vocals, lose the producer, and just sound like a rock band again. Shinedown went from “45”, “Save Me”, and the entire “The Sound of Madness” to this TERRIBLE music. Can’t listen to one of my favorite bands anymore because they sound like every other terrible rock act of the last ten years. Hard pass, and after the last few albums before this, I will no longer look forward to another Shinedown album.
Artistry to…whatever this is. 0/5

Love that you guys aren’t afraid to speak out against the totalitarian mindset. Keep rocking!
One of they're worst, I've been a fan since the beginning and I've always loved them, I think they're super talented, this album though is full of dull songs that I forget the minute I listen to them. Very disappointed.
Worse Shinedown album yet
I'm not sure where all the 4 and 5 star ratings are coming from. I love Shinedown, and especially Brent Smith's voice. I have all their albums, and have been to two of their concerts. Their last album ATTENTION! ATTENTION! was a bit of a departure from their typical sound, but it had a lot of good songs on it. Based on the snippets of Planet Zero on iTunes, this album is just wierd, and not good. There are all these little robotic voiced interludes that do nothing to advance or improve the album. Clearly this is a concept album, inspired by the COVID thing. It sounds like they just threw it together. Even Brent's voice doesn't sound right, like he used autotune or something. There isn't even one song on this album that I will buy. I'm really disappointed and bummed that I won't be adding this album to my Shinedown library. What a shame.
