Who Comes Up With The Songs On These Compilations?

There have been so many 80’s compilations like “Pure Eighties”, “Now 80’s Hits”, “Now That’s What I Call 80’s Hits”, etc. When will it ever end? And they pretty much all have the same songs! Rarely do you see anything by Holly & The Italians, The Producers, The Records, The Jags, New Musik, The Lotus Eaters, etc. The same boring songs we’ve heard over and over get added to these collections. I have a few import 80’s collections on cd that put this to shame.
