  • A great score

To the person who said that they are offended by listening to this soundtrack, please get a life. I don't mean to sound so rude but it's true. If you really had an appreciation for music, you would know that this is a great piece of work by one of the greatest composers of our time. Also, i don't think you have a clue about what you were talking about. "The G notes fall too short...blah blah" and also, you spelled cello wrong. (Cello not Chello) Just thought i would get that off of my chest since it was bothering me. Anyways, like i said, this is a great soundtrack. You hear touches and hints of other Elfman scores like Edward Scissorhands and the more darker toned Sleepy Hollow. Danny Elfman really knows his stuff.

This music gives the movie its Compelling Attitude! Some of the "licks" are quite interesting, and the rest has enought variety to keep you going!

I believe that this was a good soundtracked that fully encompassed the feel of the movie. I thought it was awesome. Good times.

I normally try to find out what happened when the All Music Guide review refers to items NOT on an iTune offering. But that seems unnecessary when AMG refers to annoying songs, usu ally NOT part of the SCORE (my favorite word). Some of what they wrote about obviously is an indication they're 'talking' about the Soundtrack cd. Hollywood & the music industry are forever confused as to the difference between S-word terminology. If you're confused, read some of my other 'reviews'. Better yet, do your own investigation. The industries involved need their collective heads investigated. As I noted in the title to this 'review', stupid songs shouldn't be included in a Score cd. Especially, if they're not IN the movie (credits are gray areas). If you want songs, buy songs. If you want what moves the movie, stick with Scores. As far as their composers? By all measures, Elfman was a master from the starting gunshot.

DANNY ELFMAN MUST HAVE LEFT HIS EARS AT HIS HOUSE WHEN MAKING THIS ALBUM. ALL THE G# NOTES ON THE CHELLOS FALL WAY TO SHORT JUST BEFORE THE VIOLIN SOLOS. I AM TRULY OFFENDED AND APPLLED WHEN I HEAR THIS CD. IF PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR THE OPPOSITE OF MUSIC.......THEY SHOULD BUY THIS ALBUM.
