Reviews

  • It's a really good record

Great to hear music from Lindsey! The record works as a whole, and the tracksmotsly all stand up by themselves. Certainly many of the songs can be interpreted to be part of the ongoing drama with Stevie Nicks, but that's show business! But the record; the musicianship and production are stellar, the songs are well crafted ands pithy, and Lindsey's voice, while niot as strong as it once was, is steady and clear. Good work!

  • Yet another great Lindsey Buckingham solo album

Lindsey Buckingham has never made a bad solo album. And he’s been on a roll for many years now. His last three albums prior to this, under the skin, seeds we sow, and gift of screws are all excellent. Like this most recent album, they all have songs that would have made classic Fleetwood Mac songs. I was quite pleased to hear that he was dismissed from Fleetwood Mac. I felt that the long FM tours kept him from his solo work. Unlike the vast majority of artists who have been making music for decades, Lindsey Buckingham keeps putting out stellar solo albums. The rest of them are just nostalgia acts. Cheers to Buckingham for continuing to write and produce great new music. There aren’t many artists out there now for whom I will buy an entire album without even hearing it first. Buckingham is one of them. This album is a pop gem. Too many great songs to list. Nice, short, catchy tunes. A great album.

The best part of that band ? The best part of Fleetwood Mac is all the parts together.

Talk about an artist who is past their prime, tired, and truly just resting on their laurels. I don’t know why I keep thinking he might tap into something less masturbatory after all this time. For someone who claims to be the genius who made Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks what they are… the truth is that after his first few albums with them, he seems to have permanently descended into mediocrity. The weight of his neurotic desire to prove to the listener that he’s a “real artist” is exhausting. We’re left, solo album after solo album, with sophomoric Art school clichés and gobbledygook.
  • He is pathetic

Overblown ego and no talent. Your behavior towards Stevie is a disgrace. It's a shame.

I heard On the Wrong Side on the Colbert Show, and i have to say the album version is even better. As is all the other tracks, wonderful production!

A musician that always has heart with the song writing as well as a craftsman with a instrument.. Good album to set a pace during these not so great days.. Thank You Lindsey.. Santa Rosa .. Blue Light.. and Time caught my playlist attention..
