I gotta say, I like this. A departure from from the norm of this magnature takes guts, which she's always had. I don't think she can get away with it again, but this is a nice peak for her recent career.

For those who are complaining without listening or doing 1 second of research... this is a collection of some of the remixes that were available throughout kd's career. Press for this album says "a brand new collection of classic remixes". I have most of these on CD singles, and loved them as they came out - as there were a welcome nod to her diverse fan base. (me included) I love the inclusion of the Miss Chatelaine remix, as that is one of my most treasured remix CD's. I was going to quibble that Constant Craving was not included, but then I remembered that the dance version was by Abigail, and k.d. never released a remix of that song. I don't have some of these, so the 6.99 price is right for me! Love k.d always xoxo

I cannot believe the total lack of style in any of these "songs". Her voice is so beautiful to be wasted on this junk. There are a few songs I would consider Dance music, but even that is drab. K.D. Lang your wasting your talent. Get yourself a new manager to get yourself back up on the charts and surpass all the garbage that is out there.

Gorgeous album cover, wonderful concept for a new kd lang collection of remixed songs. This is a great opportunity to make a new legion of fans through the magic of remix. And I have to say kudos to whoever put on the table the idea of making an album like “makeover”. Miss Lang need it. It’s something refreshing for her discography. I’ve preordered the vinyl + mp3 bundle I just can’t wait to have that beautiful turquoise vinyl spinning on my turntable. Welcome back k.d. Keep doing good music. P.S. And to that hater who had put down this beautiful remix album calling it “a mess”… it’s ok dude, you can stick to your old and boring country radio station. Just go away and bring it up your negative vibes to another place, not here, not today.

After a year of pandemic this is just what the doctor ordered. A fine collection gathered for her fans that like to dance.

I called Apple support today regarding Apple Music’s error not showing an album price for KD Lang’s new album “Makeover”, and the representative said she didn’t know why but if an artist doesn’t list an album choice for us to buy then that’s their choice. That is not how you sell your music?! All of the songs are listed to individually purchase and can hear it for 30 seconds, AND a photo of the cover but again, NO WAY TO PURCHASE THE ALBUM??? KD, I and many more of your fans are ready to purchase!! The album is great in a dance format by you and look forward to download it and listen to and share with friends. Why can we NOT sample the songs? Every time I try it just turns off!

So was very much anticipating this album release today. But much to complain about with Apple’s merchandising. 1) only previews for 2 tracks 2) there’s no single Album Purchase Where’s the Album Purchase?!! Call me old school, but true fans don’t buy just single tracks, we buy the whole album. 14 songs at US$1.29 each makes the total album US19.50 with tax. Will have to look at other resources if Apple greed doesn’t change in a week or so!
