Sander van Dijck aka San Holo is genuinely a kind soul and that really reflects in his music. Every song on, “bb, u ok?” has a relatable message behind it. For example, on “i get lonely around people, too” San opens up to the listener about his struggle with existential loneliness, a complex yet important issue to discuss. My favorite track at the moment is, “make this moment last”. This song reminds us to live in the moment and cherish it despite life around us continuously moving at a fast pace. This album is: positive, uplifting, nostalgic, deep, warm and comforting. It is extremely beneficial to those who are struggling with their mental health. Ultimately, it reminds us that even though there are times in life that we experience loneliness, we are truly never really alone at all.
