Discovered Lesiem by accident, they are great. I love the monks, they make me want to learn Latin. My only issues with this album, there are 2 tracks that dont seem to belong. " Miracle Eyes " sounds like Britney or something, and Occultum sounds like an 80's rock ballad. The rest is fabulous, especially " Fundamentum ". Buy this album!

The Itunes review is a bit short, in words and praise, for this great album. When I purchased this cd originally, it had a sticker on the cover with a magazine reviewer saying it was "Enigma meets Pink Floyd." The statement is dead on. So no, it's not just another Enigma or Dead Can Dance (though I like those groups well enough). The tightness of the chanting here is great, and the electric guitars are used sparingly, a la Pink Floyd's David Gilmour (thus the reviewers Floyd reference), make this album stand out from others of its ilk, including those by Enigma. The title track is a good representation of what the band and album are about. Other standout songs are Fundamentum, some awesome chanting melodies there, and the chill-inducing Liberta. The other Lesiem albums are good, though I would rank Auracle above Illumination. This album, however, is the classic and remains a few steps above their later efforts. Enjoy this great album!
