They are back at it with their Melodic instrumentation and songs that your SOUL instantly recognizes as Doves. Like a long lost friend you missed and happy to see back in your life filled with new rich stories of regret, haunts, hope, transformation and transcendence or at least that’s what it makes me feel. Soaked with their Soulful Sunkist sound and ethereal/ electronic dance roots.

Back to save the universe! Okay, wrong band, but would there even be a Radiohead without the Doves? Probably, but you get the point. Just like RIde, they waited for a musical reason to return, and it shows.

Already one of my fav releases by any band in years. So amazing, I really love every song. This album is INCREDIBLE!!! Stand out tracks for me are Prisoners, Mother Silverlake and Forest House. All songs are really excellent though.
