Buckethead never fails to surprise me. Whether it’s the insane funk of “Polar Trench,” his wild and remarkable work with Praxis, G&R and a host of other rock bands, or this gentle but incredibly passionate release, his versatility and genius always shines through as a guitarist and writer.
No shredding here, but some absolutely beautiful writing, composing and production in this release of several ephemeral and soaring tracks.
