You ever come across music that just really speaks to you? Those songs that just have so much meaning and personal connection that you can't help but keep listening? This is that kind of music! I have honestly never come across an album or an artist that I just felt this kind of connection to. Taking My Voice Back is without a doubt one of the most incredible albums that I've ever heard, and an amazing way to introduce the world to Ms. Brooke Robertson! Every single song is moving, powerful, encouraging, and just perfect. Brooke has such a beautiful voice that this smooth, soulful, and unique. She's truly an amazing talent, and an even better person. Having had the opportunity to get to know her a bit during the lead up to the release of this album and since, she's just real. She's humble, funny, inspiring, brave, inviting, powerful, and clearly on fire for Christ. Her story behind the title song is hands down one of the most courageous and moving that I've ever heard. The openness and honesty are definitely going to help so many people who have been hurt and still carry the weight of the past. She really is one of those people that you just can't help but root for, and with a talent like this, she's definitely going to have a massive impact! Every single song has a powerful message that we all need to hear. There's a ton of awesome variety, fun beats, powerful ballads, moving vocal and lyrics, and there's just nothing to not love about this record! Each song fills you with joy, peace, hope, and encouragement. I'm a massive music fan, and this record here is right at the very top of the best I've ever heard. I've honestly lost count of how many times I've listened to it since it came out, but it instantly became one of my personal favorites. I absolutely recommend it to anyone and everyone. If you're a fan of Christian music, or just awesome music in general, then you have to grab this one! You will not regret it. Just seriously beautiful in every possible way. Ms. Robertson has definitely gained a lifelong fan here! Cannot wait to see what the future holds for her, but I know it's gonna be amazing!!
