I am new to Sarah’s music. So glad I heard Pay It No Mind on the radio. She lets her soulful voice be the star of her songs and her beautiful music rounds out every beautiful word. Perfection! Thank you Sarah for sharing your God given talent with us.

I've tried to like this album. I really have. But I don't. It has been a little over a week since I last listened to Maggie and I still have to sing show tunes like "76 Trombones" and "Got To Pick a Pocket or Two" to get the miserably vapid lyrics about "high school and processed foods" and a particular automobile with a particular color out of my head. There are a couple of interesting songs on the album but the arrangements, musicality and style of recording fail to distinguish Sarah's amazing voice and instrumental skills. The producer did her absolutely no favors with his direction unless the only goal was to create just another singer/songwriter album which lacks any challenge to the listener and will be easy for people to listen too - even when it is not playing.
  • Another perfect album

We all know Sarah can’t make a bad album, but in case you needed to be certain, this one is wonderful. It’s great to see the gradual transition of her music over time. This one is playing often in the house.

What a PRO Sarah Jaroz is... Exacting, detailed, PROFESSIONAL... Great production, excellent musicianship, a consistant quality in her songwriting and that highly practiced, but one of a kind voice....I don't listen to much "Popular" music, but always make an exception for Jarosz.
  • Going in the right direction.

iTunes ought to clean up the review section. It's bizarre that I can right a review that will be attached to the whole album, when the only songs I've heard (and that have been released) so far are "Johnny" and "Orange and Blue." That said, here's my take so far. The tunes and lyrics are fresh and move in some new directions even as they retain signatures that are unequivocally and quintessentially Sarah. It's 5-stars for now, and we hope and expect that the remainder of the album will live up to standard these first two set.
