  • Bad lyrics over same-y music

While there are some ear worms (the first two tracks and the last one), I found myself either skipping a bunch of songs or cringing whenever the lyrics take a turn for the worse. There’s a spoken word portion on one of these songs that is just... not the best. Ultimately if you like the production or the general vibe, Dum Dum Girls, Ex Hex and Cherry Glazerr have much more sonically rich albums worth exploring. I keep checking in on best coast to see if they’ll ever be able to recapture “it,” that something special from their earlier EPs and first album... but i think it’s okay to say they’re no longer for me.

A master work in a contemporary rock.
  • OMG - Always Tomorrow is what we've been waiting for!

If you're a fan like me, this is exactly what we waited for and worth every bit of the wait. And I can hear the work that went into this album and the heart felt emotions that came out of it! The band is same - no time that has passed by will change the voice, style and power of this group - their music is timeless, the lyrics as relevant as their first album and all their others - No Time has Passed, except the anticipation of the wait. To write songs like this you have to look into your past - and i know, like all the rest of us - that is something none of us like to do - but Bethany made it through - singing her heart out - as we've heard her before; only now it's 2020.

As a person dealing with depression, and substance abuse, this album actually hit me hard with its songs and lyrics about dealing with and overcoming mental hardships, there’s passion in her singing, with melody and some melancholy, and they still rock! Recommended
