First four songs are great, and the last song is a great way to end it!

Just not feeling this album so far. I’ve loved all their previous albums so I was pretty caught off-guard when after multiple times listening to the album I just couldn’t really get into it. I honestly can’t even pick out any songs in particular off the album that are even slightly distinct or memorable. I obviously don’t want them to make the same album over and over again (which some reviewers seem to think is the reason for the lukewarm response to the album), I really have enjoyed the progress they’ve made from each album until this point. I think this sound just isn’t for me or a lot of their fan base but hopefully after a while I’ll see it differently.

If you've followed Turnover since Magnolia, their changes shouldn't shock you. The band has always struck a delicate balance of change and consistency and this album is no different. Personally, Peripheral Vision is still my favorite, but I discovered the band with that album so it's sentimental to me. As for Altogether, I like it but less than Good Nature or PV. Wish they would've went the Still In Motion route with a couple more songs on this LP. Parties, Plant Sugar, and Number On the Gate are also bops. Overall worth a spin and still have a lot of love for the band!

If you ever expect a Turnover album to be like a previous one, you don’t listen to enough turnover! Love this albums vibe

It’s not an awful album but, it’s just bland & boring in my opinion. Peripheral Vision was fantastic, every song was good & felt like it was necessary to the album. Good Nature was decent, it definitely had it’s high points like on Bonnie, Curiosity, Pure Devotion & Breeze. But, this album just isn’t doing it for me. This is all just one person’s opinion but, the best song (besides the singles, which weren’t that strong to begin with) was Still In Motion. Hey, maybe it’ll grow on me but I’ve given it a few listens from front to back & as of right now, I’m not really feelin it. Still got love for Turnover though, some of the songs mentioned earlier are some of my favorite songs probably from the last decade.

I have been listening to Turnover since 2015 and never looked back! It’s amazing to see their progress over the years and the stories the songs portray. Their music is so chill...
