Only 'Bed on Fire' and 'Beautiful You' seem to be up to the high standard created by the original Game Changer. The other songs aren't bad or anything, but would've been better on a different album, not on a follow up to the 2014 masterpiece.

I know it’s May, 2020, but since September I have heard “Soul of a Woman” and “Perfect” numerous times on the radio, and it never crossed my mind to listen to purchase and to the entire album. Game Changer II is a solid happy, loving, and danceable collection of songs. Over the decades, Johnny Gill has stayed true to the sound of R&B. Bravo!
