This album truly shows us what we lack in this world. Sometimes we get to caught up in the unsavory times of live, and often forget what we should truly be greatuful for. Dragon helps set some of those life-long necessities back in line. This album will warm your heart and help you focus on the bright in life. If you are unfamiliar with other works from "Two Steps From Hell," please be sure to check out the following: Archangel, Miracles, Skyworld, Unleashed, Invincable, Orion, Classics Vol 1, Classics Vol 2, Battlecry, Vanquish, and Heaven.

I have most of TSFH's music, and I think this is their best album as epic music. Dragonwing is excellent, as are most of their tracks. I feel as if I'm really in a dragon epic movie. Quality and composition are excellent and show talent.

If you’re a fan of orchestral music, than you’ve come to the right place. Two Steps From Hell proves once again that they are masters at their craft, with excellent arrangements from start to finish. The entire album has a sense of wonder and power within each song, but I have a few favorites that I want to highlight. Such as Bravestone, Emerald Princess, Race to Durango, Dragonwing, At the Wall, Untold, Cathedral, Believe, and Snowball Fight. Each with unique cords and feelings throughout them. Whether it be a sense of awe within Dragonwing and At the Wall, or a playful tone through Race to Durango and Snowball Fight this album never disappoints. I’ve been a fan of Two Steps From Hell for a few years now, and I have all their albums to date so far. But every time a new album comes I feel like it goes above and beyond all my expectations. Dragon just might be my new favorite album of theirs now.

I love this album. It’s got lots of great tracks from both composers, filled with so much emotional variety and beautiful melodies. There are classic epic tracks like Unbreakable, Bravestone, At The Wall, Riders Of The Apocalypse, and Dragonwing. There are emotional, moving tracks like Lonely Are The Brave, Letters to God, Cathedral, Believe, and Take me With You. There are adventurous, playful, triumphant, uplifting tracks like Race to Durango, Skulls and Trombones, Nighthawk, and Snowball Fight. There are mysterious, eerie, and ethnic tracks like Dragon, First Contact, Untold, Gift Of The Gods. And then there’s Emerald Princess, which is a multi-genre category of its own. (My personal favorites include Emerald Princess, Cathedral, Race to Durango, Believe, Nighthawk, Take me With You, and Lonely Are The Brave.) Both composers truly deliver in one of my top favorite Two Steps From Hell albums. You can expect that Thomas Bergersen will blow you away with his musical genius as usual, while Nick Phoenix has gone above and beyond to exceed expectations of musical variety. Bergersen is bright, epic, and powerful as ever. And the Phoenix, true to his name, has spread his wings. I give it a definite 5 stars, 5 thumbs up and 5... children...
  • Good, but not close to the other works

Dragon features a very new composition style. It seems, however, this style is repeated too obviously in the majority of its tracks. While only one of its compositions truly stands out as the sole original, the rest of the album follows a similar pattern that unfortunately gives it a monotone sensation. Compared to other Two Steps From Hell albums, Dragon fails to diversify its compositions styles. The album, however, is not the worst and was still fun to listen to.

Love everything that Thomas Bergersen does. Well, almost everything. Unbreakable is great. Not so sure about Emerald Princess. Love the start of the song, but not the back half after it turned annoying. It was a beautiful, lush and moving song up until minute 6 when the thump-thump-thump started. And it just kept going, thump-thump-thump, never stopped, thump-thump-thump, like someone was bouncing a basketball upstairs so hard and so long, thump-thump-thump, that it shook the discoball off my ceiling, which fell so hard on the head of the Emerald Princess that it knocked her right back to 1979 and when she woke up she said, “I think my name is Donna Summer. What the heck was THAT?”

Picture your self climbing on a bike up the continental divide up to 14,000 feet with this music banging in your head phones. Heaven on earth, what a sound for that ride. Anyone have a ride for this music? Let me know.
  • One of the best albums I've listened to in awhile

Of all the music I've downloaded through Apple Music, none of them have gotten the constant replays of a particular album than Dragon. My favorite track on the album is definitely Emerald Princess. It's actually become my favorite track from TSFH period. It used to be others like Final Frontier or Into Darkness. It's phenomenal. All of the other tracks are really good an encompass the feel of TSFH but this is by far the best album they've done in recent years.
  • Gorgeous album, as always!

Once again, 2SFH do not disappoint! The songs are gorgeous and epic, from Unbreakable to Bravestone all the way to Take Me with You. One of my favorite albums from them so far!

What an incredible work of art! Dragon delivers the authentic, emotional rollercoaster of resonating composition that Two Steps From Hell is known for. Kudos to the composers, this album is truly one of their bests.
