These guys are extremely talented! In American Love Call, Durand Jones & The Indications once again capture the same classic soulful sound that their self-titled album conveyed, but this time it feels so much more polished and refined. Everyone in the band is really given the chance to shine in American Love Call and it shows. I guarantee that if you loved their first album, you’ll absolutely enjoy this one as well.

This group rocks out live! I felt some hints of Al Green/James Brown/the Chantels/the Marvelttes/Temptations 50s-70's etc from the singers voice and he really put his all into the performance. I saw them in Missoula, Montana with Rebelution and I couldnt wait to get their music in my library! A group that keeps music raw with a full band, guitar and bassist ruled and the drummer was amazing and he sang too which is amazing and rare, the women playing the horn section killed it! Stay Groovy and get this album and the rest of their music.

I have been waiting for this album to drop a few months back, but it disappeared from the "Preview/Preorder" section. I was wondering what happened and why iTunes decided to remove it. I am happy that it was there when I looked yesterday. If you are an old school R+B junkie, like myself, then you will love this album. It's that '60-'70s sound that you don't hear too much in today's music.
This is the true definition of R&B/Soul!

Haven’t heard good ‘Ol Skool “jams” like this in so long!! Every song is unique but the same “flavor” of Low Rider Oldies!! Can’t wait for more releases, this Group knocks it out of the park.
