Fantastic, there are so many topics covered in a one of a kind atmosphere. One of the best albums of all time, not only in just the sector of Hip Hop. In my personal opinion, it's the best album of the 2010's.

This album is amazing in every sense of the word, and it deserves a perfect score. The lyrical narrative displayed through each track is one of success, faith, and personal growth. To put things in perspective, there is an entire season of a podcast called “Dissect” dedicated to analyzing this album. This album is a must for any hip-hop listener

Kendrick Lamar has a penchant for lyricism. Extremely thoughtful and well written. Pushes all the right buttons

This is the best rap album of all time. The story it tells of a Kendrick Lamar who is dealing with depression and self hate because of who he has become. The instrumentals are funky and groovy and psychedelic. There is never a boring moment on the album.
  • Decent and interesting album, but not a classic

Look, this is a pretty interesting album and all, the production is pretty smooth as background music, but that's the problem, the production is only good enough for background music like as I'm showering or whatever and not interesting enough to just sit back and listen to, and Kendrick just isn't an interesting or skilled enough rapper to keep me interested for such a long album. I still remember when I struggled through this album. I kinda wish this production had gone to a more commanding rapper who could work with it and make it more enjoyable and interesting to listen to, because Kendrick just isn't that good. Also the singing is nice, sometimes, but not when there's more singing in a song than rapping on a rap album, and Kendrick himself shouldn't sing.
  • Absolutely gorgeous

Taking risks with the production as well as the topics covered in this album. This is a necessary album. The people hating on this album are ignorant. Not willing to give this production a chance and completely ignoring the messages. Definitely will go down in history as one of the greatest albums of all time.
