Only the most cynical cold dark heart could not be touched by this glorious music. It is truly a blessing to the ears. A blessing from god and the marine band. This soothing calming music helps me in my times of need. It makes me proud to be from a country with such a strong tradition of greatness. This CD reflects that tradition. The dynamic tones and powerful sounds lift and lighten my load. I'm sure it will do the same for you.

The first track is the one the band plays at the end of every concert. I went to the 210th Marine Band Birthday Concert with John Williams in 2008 and they played this work. One of my favorites, after Stars and Stripes of course.

I'm currently an officer candidate in the Corps. I love all this music but the main reason I write is because of Taps; I just have to say that this rendition is probably the most beautiful that I have ever heard. It sent a chill down my spine.(in a good way) :-)
