Saw Eric open for Tab Benoit in Fruita Colorado. What a great sound. Tab played drums for his set and produced his CD with Cary Dubracheund (SP) on Bass. I bought his CD at the show. It's a three man band playing louisiana blues and a little Bayou boogie. It had to be tough for them to play music for us in Colorado with a hurricane bearing down on their homes in La.. He plays solid licks, great vocals and it was a thoroughly enjoyable concert. If you like the Blues, Buy it!

Just heard this 'kid' live last night when he opened for Tab Benoit in AZ. He is quite talented and has a good stage presence as well. With more exposure, there is no reason Johanson shouldn't be able to develop a strong following. There is a lot of crap music in the Top 40 (and etc) ... it is nice and refreshing to listen to a young artist that plays a lot of his own music and does so with a passion that is genuine and not just about making it big in music. Play on, Eric ... play on!
