Stone Temple Pilots (2018)

Jeff Gutt sounds amazing. The Deleo Brothers kick a**. Eric Kretz kills it. Songwriting is strong and the musicality is top notch. A great effort all around… Especially love the opener, ‘Middle of Nowhere” and the “Art of Letting Go…” Superb.

I WILL ALWAYS LOVE SCOTT WEILAND, BUT THIS ALBUM SOUNDS LIKE STP HAS NOT MISSED A BEAT. JEFF GUTT IS GOOD. REAL GOOD. HE IS A FIT, I LIKE THE DIRECTION, AND HIM AS STP’S FRONT MAN GOING FORWARD. ITS WORKING....

AWESOME ALBUM A CLASSIC as good as all their other albums. Jeff Gutt is as good as Scott and its just a great record.

There is no stone temple pilots without Scott , the music isn’t bad , but just rename the band, the same thing that Creedence Clearwater revival did when John Fogerty left and they called it creedence clarwater revisited .

Like pouring silk in my ears... finally, an album worth listening from start to finish...

The same songwriting you know and love

I was just as skeptical as any STP fan that this simply would not and could not work. But it does. The music is fantastic. These songs sound exactly like STP is supposed to sound. Its so good that it hurts because you want to hear Weiland singing these songs, but the new guy steps up and does a surprisingly good job. He makes it work while still paying respect to the music and the band. If you're a loyal fan like I am, and you think this doesn't stand a chance - give it a try. I did out of morbid curiosity, and remembered the music is why I love STP as much as I do. Dean, Eric, and Robert, along with the new singer do a fantastic job of keeping the legacy alive with this album.

I am ecstatic to see (and hear) Stone Temple Pilots again!! Keep on making great music!! Your artistry is like no other!

I’ve been following Jeff Gutt for about 6 years. I love that he was picked to allow STP to continue to share their talents. Great album guys.
