First heard Paul Thorn play at a blues club in Kansas City & loved the rock, blues, gospel sound he brings every time. His music shows you his heart. What else would you expect from a man from Tupelo, Mississippi?

Wow! I just found this on i tunes. Paul Thorn is new to me. What a joy full sound. It this does not get you up dancing, singing and claping your hands - I don't know what would. Once I start listening, I can't get the songs out of my mind. Thanks Paul

I have always respected Paul’s music and his will power not to sell out to the big machine, The Music Business! My ex judged a writer’s show in Tupelo in the 90’s which this fabulous artist did not win and I’ve often wondered if he knew why he did not? It’s because he was not being his true self that day, he was giving what he thought we wanted to hear! We wanted to hear the heart of his writing! He played commercially successful stuff! Later we did hear HIS music and became immediate fans! Since then all I’ve heard from this amazing man is his truth and honesty ... his muse is reckless, pure, insightful and now reverent to the Almighty! This record took me to church today! PTL ... TCB! Love it! Tammy R. Mills, former personal assistant to Mae Boren Axton

I have been listening to Paul for several years and through several CD's. This one is by far his best effort to date. The emotion and sincerity he evokes musicially and vocally is honest and transparent. The Blind Boys of Alabama add an authencity that is often missing in this style of music. This is going to be played until I got no change in clothes. Praise Jesus for this CD.

This album drips with the authenticity of Paul’s heritage and his roots in the church. The PTB has curated a fantastic collection of southern gospel works and delivered refreshed interpretations in a wonderful mash up with the PHB, Blind Boys of AL, McCrary Sisters and Bonnie Bishop. If you want to get your blood pumping, buy this album!
