Dan does a great job in this podcast of taking time to explain the background of the protestant reformation in the 1500s and the religious idiosyncrasies of the Anabaptists at that time. He describes everything in great detail but does not lean into the grotesque nature of the events too much. Very informative and entertaining!

The story has lots of background information but things really get interesting once Dan Carlin gets into what happened in the Munster rebellion.

Dan goes into the story of the Anabaptist movement and how it impacted the city of Münster in Germany in the early 1500’s. As always it is awesome to hear Dan unfold these historical events.
