Good album!

I had only heard a few of Tauren Wells' songs on the radio before I brought my sister this album for Christmas. At first I thought "well, well, another CCM artist" until I listened closely. We found out just earlier this year that he used to be the lead singer of a great Christian pop/rock band called Royal Tailor that's now one of my favorite bands by the way. After hearing their groovy music, I decided to branch out into his recent solo work. This is his only full-length album so far, and it is amazing! His music is accessible to pretty much anyone, as the songs on this album veer from danceable electronic pop to worshipful ballads to hardcore hip-hop. We always talk about how "it's hard to imagine this song coming on after this one" since there is so much diversity in his music. My favorites are "Never Gonna Let Me Go" and "Love is Action." These are songs that make you want to dance, think, and pray! If you're a fan of Royal Tailor or TobyMac or just listen to contemporary Christian music in general, I would encourage you to check this out. Overall, this is fantastic, and look forward to his new album coming out in January!
