Jidenna is lyrically savvy enough to create message music without it being perceptible as such, due to his incredible choice of 1. Metaphor 2. Beats 3. Catchy hooks. He is highly underrated and I believe he would be a far bigger artist if he wasn't so loyal to his Nigerian roots. Jidenna has what it takes as much as Kendrick did. If only his international sensitivity and focus didn't serve to obfuscate his American reach. He deserves to win. I believe he can pull it off.

I love smoothie lyrics over nice beats. Every song is different and has a different vibe each time. Not like the same ol auto tunes and "wth" lyrics you here now. I love this album and I look forward to more. There were stronger songs and fillers but I bought the entire thing because it's nice to hear lyrics and not mumbles.
