More music from the extraordinary Hans Zimmer. This album is mainly a rearranging of instruments to give a different sound to each song. If you are a steadfast fan of Hans and are looking for something new I highly recommend this album. My personal favorite being time from inception.

It was so great to be a part of this album (Hi, Tina here! I did the TIME cover) with so many talented artists, for an album of music by my friend Hans! An amazing musician and human being. Hope everyone enjoys this CD!

No one can say Zimmer is not an extraordinary talent, he is. That being said he also has an extraorodinary ego. Never more evident than these painful covers of select tracks from his scores. Not one coming close to the original or offering any reason for its existence. Zimmer cleary initaited this album in a further attempt to glorify himself but what he fails to realize is that he is far from the most innovative or talented composers out there any more. Artists like Cliff Martinez and Clint Mansell offer far more interesting and accomplished work. He needs to get back to basics - score a few less potential blockbusters and add a few more independats and stop letting your staff do the work.

He's one of those guys who when I hear of a movie coming out and I hear he is doing the music, I get excited. its very rare for me to really get excited about music scoring in films, but his stuff is so amazing and atmospheric. his calling card to my ears is a wonderful mix of electronics with strings. listen to roxannes theme from Megamind if you want to hear something that is beyond beautiful....the interesting chord changes, how he changes of the arrangement dropping out certain sounds and bringing in others. he is an artists artist.

I listen to this bad boy on repeat all day. So beautiful. I maybe would have swapped a few pieces for other Zimmer classics but this is a pretty great representation.
