i am really disappointed with this dumpster fire of a project it sounds like danny is doing way to much hallucinating drugs while recording some songs he’s just screaming over a wack track, i strongly suggest that you don’t waste your time or money on this mess of a album 👎👎👎👎

The best experimental rap album of the 2010’s, maybe of the 21st century (barring Madvillainy). An absolutely manic album, with stratospheric highs and muddy lows. The insanity on the production and lyrics is so over the top and well executed.
  • One of the most essential albums of the 2010s

Atrocity Exhibition, Danny Brown’s second studio album is by far one of the most intersting, experimental and out there projects of the 2010s. The album continues down Danny’s downward spiral into madness and provides his views of various subjects like hard drugs specifically cocaine, women, partying, sex, and the after effects. BUT Danny Brown puts the spin on these common subjects by opening the curtain to the dark side of all of it. Danny uses a nasally energetic flow like his first studio album “XXX” but cranked to 100% “Ain’t it Funny” is a hyper energetic track that sees Danny rapping sporadically over an equally insane avant garde jazz beat about drugs and it’s dangerously scary effects with lyrics like “Live a fast life, seen many die slowly, unhappy when they left, so I try to seize the moment”. I don’t want to go into too much detail but I 100% recommend this album for any listener who can see past how ridiculous it may sound to the ears at first listen and realize the deeper meaning to the message of the album. This is Danny Brown’s best effort yet.

Here’s the deal, man: Danny really keeps it high and tight. Take 10-12 Benadryl and try it out.

It’s pretty good. Though, I still think XXX is his best project yet.
  • A work of true musical hiphop art.

It took me a while to review this album. I listened to it for a long time. Trying to feel the vibe. Understand the lyrics thoroughly and feel what Danny was saying. This album is an absolute 10 for me. I can listen to this album throughout. I may skip "Goldust" but that's probably it. 10/10. Danny put his everything in this album.
