This is a fantastic album. Very well done. I like the echo chamber they put on his voice. In the outtakes you can hear all the instruments really well. I never really cared for the mix on the actual album. It's was watered down to me. With lots of horns etc. His voice was not loud enough in the mix. However, this album hit the nail on the head. All the joking between takes. You're like a fly on the wall in the famous Jungle Room. Excellent. Well done.

It is an awesome Cd with the outtakes. I bought the Mood Blue CD and the copy I have is a a double ablum on on cd of his last two albums(From Elvis Presley Boulvevard,Memphis Tenesse and Moody Blue. Disc 1 Of this collection is that same disc.

I am a HUGE Elvis fan, not a crazy one, but I do own all of his music. However, outside of the new outtakes, this album is his last album before he died, Moody Blues, with a different song order. I almost bought this Jungle Room album, but I had already bought Moody Blues with all the extra songs years ago. If you don't own Moody Blues, this "new" album is awesome, and you get extra outtakes. If you own MB, only buy the outtakes.
