The Bride is a beautiful story told through the eye of the beholder. It took me on a journey of love and loss, and it's a journey I wouldn't mind taking over and over again. Natasha Khan, Bat for Lashes, has done an extraordinary job of telling the story of The Bride.

It's finally here!

This is an album you really have to experience for yourself because of how personal it is. It's very intimate and the songs stay with you long after you stop listening to it. Natasha has an amazing ability to create truly engaging stories with her music and you get swept up in them. Don't expect to casually listen to The Bride and really get the essence of it unless you sit down and take it in, in the actual order that the songs are listed. It is a story, and while the songs sound beautiful apart, it's together that they really shine and make this album special. I've always loved BFL's music, but this album in particular, really feels timeless. It's the best work she's done up to this point and I can't wait to see what she does next! Highlights are Joe's Dream, Never Forgive The Angels, Close Encounters and If I Knew. But seriously, listen to the whole album! You will really be missing out if you pick and choose songs here. Thank you so much Natasha, this is a thing of beauty every listen.

I listened to the whole album and this album is very well put together. I love the supernatural feel and turmoil that happens in the album. There are a lot of lows but there is a high to the distress. A+ Natasha!

I was lucky enough to see Natasha perform in LA recently, where she began the show by playing the bulk of this album (I believe she played 9 of the songs), leaving off "only a few for us to discover". I can honestly say I loved every new song. She never disappoints.

The gloom that awaits... Natasha Khan is a musical treasure. Say "I do."

I mean seriously she's the only original female artist! I never get sick of her. Such a genius! I have goose bumps right now! I Do.
