Horrible 👎🏽 You can't always have a hit, but should have chosen a different song in its place. Hope the next album is NOT going in that direction.

How is this pop

Daughtry was my favorite band in middle school for a long time. I bought their debut album around the arrival of Baptized, which, at least some of the songs weren't too bad. Some were actually good. I love most of their older stuff, Daughtry, Leave This Town, and Break the Spell all spoke to me well, and I guess Baptized did subpar at best. The thing that kills me is this NEW crap they're pumping out. I'll give Torches a little bit of credit, but Go Down... May we have a moment of silence for the horror that is that song? It just goes to show that the good rock stuff is either getting heavier, darker, and often could and does fit into Christian, Alternative, Emo Rock or heavy metal, while the rest is escalating to this really crappy pop music. The rock we knew and loved from the previous albums is only archived in the beginning of this album, and the fact that it's paving the way for pop is... Disgusting. Anyways all that aside, it's a decent album, probably just released either a bit too early, or a bit too late.

I have heard a lot of people comment that Daughtry needs to go back to his own rock roots, because all of the new songs he is producing sound to pop and too unlike him. To this, there is a part of me that agrees and a part of me that doesn't. Daughtry has been my go to band ever since I was a little kid, and I have loved their music. I own pretty much every one of his songs and have listened to every song about a million times. I just heard Torches and Go Down a few days ago, and I don't hate them. Daughtry's lyrics and voice always make his songs amazing, but I still can't get over the more pop direction he is taking. And yes, I realize that artists evolve over time. Artists are suppose to do that, and they have to to survive in the music industry. I just wish I could see a little more of Daughtry's rock sound. Rock is my favorite genre, and I don't hate pop, but it's not really my favorite. So for me to hear these songs by Daughtry, it kinda makes me sad. But I by no means hate these new songs, Daughtry did an amazing job with them. His lyrics and voice still hold true to him, and they are great tracks. I just wish I could hear more of the old sound from Daughtry, and I hope some of that will come back in the next album. Even though I miss that rock sound, Daughtry is still one of my favorite bands. His music is still amazing, and no matter the direction he takes his music I won't stop being a fan just because it's not exactly how I want it. Keep on rocking Daughtry.

He is hands down my favorite male vocalist becuase all his songs are great, with a lot of other singers I will have a favorite song but never really be able to listen and love the whole album ... Makes him stand out above everyonoe else ... he should pair up with Kelly Clarkson for a duet because these two by far are the best singers to coe out of American Idol ...

This is one of my all item favorite bands and I love how the put a greatest hits album together. And the two news songs... Amazing! What about now is one of my favorite songs and I am glad to see it on here!
