This album is fantastic - and it's refreshingly unique. It deserves much higher ratings, and so do the individual songs (looking at Cold Night in particular, that song is easily my favorite song of this year).
  • Weird in a good way

The album cover and even the music video for "I am Chemistry" was quite off putting. But I'm glad I took a listen, some of the coolest, weirdest, deepest indie alternative music I've ever heard. Brilliant stuff!
  • Fun album

I'm so glad to see another Yeasayer album after these few years, and they've really delivered. I find myself listening to the entire album on repeat.

Finally got through my first listen of the entire effort. It feels like they went with the shotgun approach and the album shows.
  • One of My Most Looked Forward To

This album has been on my radar long before it was announced. This album (so far) has collected the uniqueness of their first two albums, mixed with the sound and style of their last LP. Yeasayer may not be as popular as they once were but as long they keep making unique genre-blending records filled with emotion, then they will always have my support. Amen & Goodbye is going to be great.

Not sure how people didn't like Fragrant World, I loved it... But I think I may enjoy this album that much more! These first two singles are excellent!
