I feel like I can relate to every song on this album. I bought it last year and I have found that the songs on this album are appropriate for every occasion, every mood, every day. I listen to it while studying, driving, or falling asleep. Deb Talan and Steve Tannen have the most soothing voices and the music never seems forced. They are lyrical geniuses and I love every single song.

I actually managed to pick up their second album, Hideaway, first, which is a beautiful album. I recently aquired this album, Say I am You, not being terribly sure that it would be able to top Hideaway. It does! This is what great folk music is all about. The Weepies are sensational. Compelling lyrics, great instrumentals, and songs that provoke thought and just an overall feeling of peace of mind. I recommend their work to every folk lover I know. You can't just download one, you need the entire album! Play it through on a Sunday morning while you sip your coffee, and you'll be very glad you have the entire album! Enjoy :) and be sure to check out their other album, Hideaway, it is also wonderful.

I never used to have a favorite artist. I usually like a handful of an artists material but never their entire collection. The Weepies without a doubt I can call my favorite band of all time so that's saying something. I heard "World Spins Madly On" while flipping channels and hit Men in Trees and I absolutely fell in love. Every song on this album is simply amazing in well... their simplicity. They aren't screaming at you to take notice. They just completely wrap you in their songs and each lyric has touched home for me personally at various times over the past year. Their voices are so soothing; I love taking naps to this album! I even got my metal head friend to take a listen and he fell in love with them too! Buy the album. You won't regret it!

although i absolutely love everything the weepies have done, this album has a special place in my heart. there's something about it that's just...different from other music out there. it's almost as if they go inside your mind and find words for all the thoughts you have but can't quite figure out how to say. listen, and they will capture your heart like they did mine.

I bought the Sex in the City Soundtrack and when I listened to "All is Beauty" from The Weepies my heart filled with joy! -- I just had to buy the rest of the album... which is ALL BEAUTY indeed!
