the way this album was written so well, the songs themselves show personal growth and using childlike and creative metaphors and themes to depict her character growing up but also Melanie growing as a person, and it’s hard to use those themes and metaphors while also structuring them well together without it sounding forced, Melanie does an amazing job not forcing the theme but making sure you know it’s there. The songs themselves show us her life and many different experiences that have brought her down, while also slowly gathering yourself throughout the record, and the last song kind of wraps up basically who she is, and why she isn’t afraid to hide it. Overall, 10/10, would recommend.
