Description

Hannah John-Kamen stars as the gorgeous, complicated and deadly Dutch. A top-level Killjoy, she’s a much-loved and charming presence in her community, with a unique gift for earning people’s trust and respect regardless of their class. Under her banter and self-protective flirtations, there is pain, maturity, and a deep solemnity resulting from a dark, secret past. Aaron Ashmore takes on the role of John Jaqobis, a Level 3 Killjoy who, despite his profession, is a peacemaker who hates conflict. Cheerful and kind-hearted, John prefers not to fight, but his sarcastic wit has put him into the fray enough over the years to teach him how to do it well -- and dirty. Give this man any machine or situation, and he can fix it, build it, and fly it. Luke Macfarlane plays D’avin Jaqobis, a handsome, rugged, sarcastic and incredibly loyal former soldier. He dreamed of enlisting in the military since boyhood, and his hard-won expertise in tactics, maneuvers, and hand-to-hand combat make him an instant asset to the Killjoy team.

For one they completely copied the storyline that a band called MCR made , then they made a crappy version of it *not a fan*

This series has the potential to make history. It is, right now, the best science fiction on television. If the writing continues to darken and deepen, Killjoys may eventually stand among the best science fiction series period. The three main characters are, each one, excellent in their roles. The episodes get better and better as the season progresses. There is much that is original and fresh here—a pleasure to encounter. I recommend Killjoys.
  • Awesome characters, dark warning

I love this show. Wonderful characters with complicated relationships and back stories, but the show manages to explore that without getting convoluted. I also really appreciate the themes of corporate greed, abuse of powers, and the danger of letting corporations get into governing.
  • Interesting Story & Characters, Lots of Potential

I wasn't sold on this series from the word go but each week I have grown to enjoy it more and more. Having just 3 main characters means there's plenty opportunity to delve into each of their characters and learn what makes them tick and where they're coming from and how their individual relationships develop. At times the dialogue feels a little forced and some of the guest actors aren't the best on offer but if you can overlook those minor details you'll enjoy this show a lot and I highly recommend you check it out. It's good sci fi that makes you think.
  • A Fun Ride!

This show surprised me. Not only does it have a strong female lead, but the chemistry between the cast members is palpable. The universe that they live in feels full and interesting. The music is great and the show has a dark undertone, but ultimately the humor is what got me. The dialogue is superb and I can't wait to see more after each episode!
  • Horrible B actors

This could have been great but the acting is so terrible. I really want to like this show but please, please kill the lead female actress and replace her with some talented actress.
