Wonderful British Filmmaking – Brilliant Cast, Captivating Narrative and Story Line, soulful writers capturing the viewers, beautifully poetic cinematography, and a musical masterpiece complete the theme embraced in Grantchester. I can not wait until Season 2 comes to iTunes (hopefully in the next few weeks)!

Very entertaining! Great stories each week supported by a cast who have build an excellent case for continued viewing and more Episodes for Seasons to come. I enjoyed seeing the characters developing each week, the humor, the music...and of course murder solving. I'm not one to write reviews...but I like the show AND the Dog!

Such a good show with in-depth characters that are so REAL...you might forget that it's set in Vicarage in the 1950's! The story lines are light-hearted most of the time, but even when they delve into darkness...it's doesn't linger there. The characters are all interesting in their own right, but it's Sydney (the Vicar) who makes their interactions necessary and he alone with his "relatable flaws" that will keep you wanting to see more! I hope the show comes back for many more seasons. Mrs."M", Leonard...and 'Dickens' storyline hasn't even scratched the surface yet! (((watch it!)))

Interesting… tender, flawed and charming man of cloth. I particularly like his surprising insights, and frankness.

Great show. The angst ridden vicar is so enticing. The romantic tension is sublime. The great detective stories are intriguing. Can't wait for more!

Addicted to Grantchester! An intriguing storyline each episode with undercurrents of desire and the emotional turmoil experienced by a WWII veteran turned small town vicar.

This series gets better with each episode. The acting is first rate, and the characters are interesting. Sometimes it seems that Sydney is more interested in solving murders (and drinking at the pub) than pursuing Amanda or Hildegard, but these aspects make for a very interesting story.
