This literary gem changed my life, self esteem and made me move half way around the world in search of my destiny. The version here on iTunes is the original unsanitized version, finally, after you couldn't get your hands on it unless you bought the DVD's from Europe or Australia. Incredibly well written and acted, and true to the era. Armistead was a consultant on the set all the time, so his spirit is all over this depiction of his beautiful novel. Enjoy!

This is part one of a three season series which is by far one of the best miniseries ever made it stays true to the book and excellent casting and excellent directions excellent acting visually stunning.

Excellent production of Armistead Maupin's breakthrough work documenting the life and times of gay and straight San Francisco in the 1970s. Touching, funny, surprising and mysterious. You'll watch it over and over. Fantastic cast.
