Sao is a great anime filled with action, romance, and humor. But how is it rated "TV-G"? It has some innuendo that makes the anime at least TV-14. Not saying that this is a bad anime but the rating is what I don't understand.

I love this Anime because, come on, if you tell me you've never wanted to play your favorite game from the inside you're lying. Not only is the world fantastic but the characters are different and not just copies of one another. Asuna and Kirito are kickass, adorable, and prove how much they love each other every episode. I think this anime is most definitely worth your time and money because it's amazing.

  • Romance Comes to the Fore in Second Half of the Aincrad Arc

In contrast to the first half of Sword Art Online's first arc (Vol.1), which focused on side stories and the various characters (mostly female) that the protagonist, Kirito, encountered while trapped in Sword Art Online, Vol. 2 brings the focus onto his developing romantic relationship with Asuna, which was foreshadowed in the previous episodes. Besides that, there are several good action scenes as Kirito, Asuna, and the other players challenge the remaining bosses as they make a push to reach the 100th floor and clear the game before their life support back in the real world runs out. The quality of the animation and music remains excellent as ever, though the ending, even if thematically appropriate, may be criticized for having an element of deus ex machina. But in spite of its flaws, Sword Art Online remains a rather enjoyable show. And once again, to anyone who isn't familiar with the show and is going by the "G" rating that iTunes has posted here, don't believe that. This show is meant for teens and young adults with its romantic themes and violence (there is no blood, but it's possible for the players' in-game avatars to be impaled / temporarily lose limbs, and Sword Art Online remains a game where the death of the player's avatars equals their death in the "real world").
