Great show! Hate it was cancelled after only one season.

Huge Bo Burnham fan! This show is funny and also heartwarming! Bo is amazing this is a must watch! I wish they never cancelled it.

I would have loved many more seasons but the ending is perfect.

Bo Burnham is a comedic genius and this show is so funny. 10/10.

honestly, i have no idea why this show got cancelled. this show was much better than most of the stuff they show on MTV and it was much more genuine than a lot of the shows as well. the show follows high school graduate Zach Stone who decides that instead of going to college, he's going to spend his life savings on a camera crew so they can document his "rise to fame". what i personally liked best about this show is that it has a lot of heart. yes it's a comedy show, and yes the comedy is there, but the show does touch on some serious themes in todays world. Zach tries to get the show to capture the image that he thinks will lead him to fame, and he tries (unsuccessfully) to cut out anything in his real life (such as his friends and family) that he thinks will tarnish that image. i don't want to go into too much detail because i don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen the show, but as i said before, he tries to get the show to capture this image he's created of himself that he thinks will get himself famous, but as the show goes on you start to realize that Zach is actually very insecure and he believes that becoming famous will solve any of the problems that he's been having in his real life. the story arc throughout the season is definitely a great one, and i can safely say that because i found myself focusing less on the jokes and the comedy, and more on the story, which may be seen as a bad thing but it's not because i'm always finding new jokes to laugh at that i may have missed the first time every time i watch the show. the cast all play their roles exceedingly well, which was a relief for me, because i was worried i was going to walk out of the show thinking "well Bo was good, everyone else was meh" which wasn't the case. as a final note, all i can say is, if you haven't seen this show, there's absolutely no reason not to watch it. it's funny, it's emotional, it's heartfelt, and it's very genuine. it's definitely worth the $20 (or $30 if you want it in HD) to buy the Season Pass and i've found myself watching the show multiple times, and i'll easily find myself watching it many more times to come, and i don't think that that's a bad thing at all.
