  • Love this series, but...

This was one excellent series, if they had enough funding to continue it. It would have been nice if they had revised the release by offering an HD version of this. I would give it 5 stars immediately! It is worth watching in HD than standard; especially when you have a high def television.

The show was nothing less than legendary. In a time when superhero movies and shows were few and far between, this one set the high bar in terms of acting, stories, music, etc. A must-have for any collection!
  • FLASH FORWARD

Ahead of its time! John Wesley Shipp opened the gates to the superhero genre as a successful primetime franchise, 30 years later launching into the contemporary “Arrowverse”! This is where it all started. Get in the fast lane and join the adventure — inspired (in many ways) by Tim Burton’s own 1989 hit blockbuster BATMAN, this Scarlet Speedster is fun, festive — full of heart and excitement!

    ARE HARD TO READ.
  • Out of order

Great series, but be aware that the episodes are listed out of order. Characters reference things that haven't occurred yet (e.g., In "The Trickster" a character mentions Tina being in a gang, but that doesn't occur until the next episode listed.).

If you haven't noticed yet the gentlemen that played the flash here plays the flashes father in the new series.

I found this series of the Flash to be well down and falls in line with the comic book hero. I'm sorry it didn't go longer.

Ok this "Flash" was damn good, BUT!, what if this review was read by a big movie producer and it went main stream? With special effects like the Matrix and Tron out there, and the sales of Marvel or DC I'm surprised it hasn't risen to the big screen. Giving some depth on the character in a way that Batman Begins did would suffice. What IF!

… That this series was created, the effects were decent and the suit was pretty damn good for TV. Batman the first film made by Tim Burton, at the time was the only on-screen suit that looked good. So, for TV, this was great. The show, however decent. It was by no means a great piece of work and it only lasted a couple of seasons. Anyway, I wish the people posting this stuff up would put up "Original Release" and not the new dates that each company decides to repackage a an old asset. This was originally release in "1990", thank you very much.
