Such a good show. Explains everything in easy to understand language but doesnt limit itself in expanding your knowledge of the universe. Highly Recomended!!

This is perhaps one of the best series ever put on TV since Carl Sagan. Seriously. All seasons of this series are packed with awesome facts and amazing animation to explain complex astrophysical concepts. Also included are interviews with scientists like Michio Kaku, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and Alex Filippenko as well as many other experts in the field. Amazing work, and I hope Discovery continues this series soon to update on the new discoveries since season 6. Already some of the content is dated!!!!

I'm a 9 year old (almost 10 year old) kid and I have a long bus ride to school every morning. I watch these episodes on my bus ride and I love this show. The show is so good that I would change the name from episodes to EPICsodes for this show.
  • Lots of Hype, Tiny Substance

I watched the episode on gamma ray bursts. The entire episode could have been 12 minutes long, and gave the same amount of information. The graphics, while cool, were extremely repetitive. A waste of $2.99.

ive been a fan of astrology since my high school years, this season is great, but i hate the fact that they say the world will end, or come to an end in billions of years from now it dnt make any sense, we only live for about 100 or less years, why believe the world will end in billions of years.. anyway they use that alot, but this season is kool.
  • Sensationalist Junk Turns Me OFF

Sure this is based on facts but they just had too little to work with for their sensationalist tendencies. Every other section is about how the earth will be destroyed when in reality we're fine. Too few facts and way to annoying. DON'T BOTHER

As said in the title, do not rate the series based on 1 episode. Namely episode 3, a few episodes in this tv show are out of place and a lower calibur than most. As a rule, doomsday shows ARE about fear (as said in a lower post), however, this tv show is not about doomsday. one out of 14 (in this season alone) is about fear, but thats what you bought when you payed for a doomsday tv episode. All in all, this is a fantastic tv show, and i bought all 3 seasons

They called water Hydrogen Dioxide. That's HO2, not H2O. Water is Dihydrogen Oxide.
