Description

Young, beautiful, and deliciously daring heiress and competitive race driver Penelope Pitstop zooms to glory all over the world in her bright pink race car in this animated series from Hanna-Barbera Productions. Whether plummeting to earth with a sabotaged parachute or strapped to a runaway stagecoach on a direct collision course with a train, Penelope is always hurtling into danger, because her guardian, Sylvester Sneekly, is actually the Hooded Claw, an arch villain determined to inherit her fortune. i love this show even though i am only 13 my favorite part of Perils of Penelope is the little mobsters tee hee lol but yea i am so happy iTunes brought this show on here! i can't wait till i get my Nano i can put this show on it i love Perils man i am soooo happy that this show came out!!!!!!!

I can remember seeing images of this show vaguely from my childhood. It's very cool that Itunes can get content like this and Logan's Run that are allowing nostalgia to run wild. This show displays the old school CELL PAINTED animation that is highly limited. No one could do weekly animation at a Disney level so they had to be creative in what moved and what didn't to tell the story. Limited animation not done nearly as well as most of the Hanne Barbera content like Yogi and Hucklebery Hound, but perhaps represents the last of a kind a creative spirit that began to fall out kids animation of the time period. Thanks for finding this for the nostalgia of it all.
