I have to applaud the Rice family once again and everyone who worked with them. This was by far another masterpiece alongside its preferred original. This definitely depicts the truth behind actual Creole intermixed families🤯. (Vampyre or not)! 😉 May you continue “Educating” the world🙃. Besides who says “WOKE” anymore anyway? 💀🙈😂Call it what they will. We creoles exist and this… (even if it had to be told in vampire tales)…will definitely be an exceptional keepsake in my household. Anne Rice fan all the way. Even after 34 years😍😍😍. My Husbands only question is where is Part 2?!😜 Again we thank you for this version. God Bless!

I thought they couldn't possibly ruin Anne Rice more than when they screwed up the movie series by skipping book two and completely botching book three... but I was wrong. Woke Hollywood strikes again and ruins what was some great literature from a great writer. Remember when you thought season 8 of Game of Thrones completely botched the whole show and was a disgrace to the original works by GRRM? Here we go again...

I am in awe over and noticeably happy being made into a fan. I am impressed with how good just all of it is. How everyone did good. Money well spent, them making the show and me buying the season. I didn’t think I’d care for it, only gave it a chance because my other half was interested. But not even halfway on the first episode I knew I was a fan. I didn’t know how many times I’d get swept up, back in, watching nonstop to the season finale just feeling the feels 🙌👏👏👏

They need to invent their own stories and quit screwing up other peoples stories!

The writers have done justice to the original and their version. The characters will be with me for a longtime. The entire cast is a breath of fresh air.

This adaptation was absolutely amazing! It’s not exactly like the book, but modernized for today. I usually don’t like that, but this adaptation is exceptional. And anyone complaining about the homosexuality in the show is not a true fan of the series or of Anne Rice.

I can’t say enough how much I loved this series. I read the entire series many years ago and saw both movies.. (first got me into the books, second was terrible haha) I think the changes they made for the series were perfect! The change of era, making Louis a (very handsome) black man, and leaning into the homo erotic elements that are VERY present in the book. And on top of it the cast is incredibly talented and you can’t help but get lost in the story. The fact that so much dialogue is taken directly from the book is amazing as well. Please watch!! I need more seasons!!
