Quite amazing. Only wish we had season 2 and 3 available in the US.

...with interesting storyline development than an actual sub war movie. Also personal conflicts of the time back then and these days and more current these days again are covered. Techy nerds could complain about the animation of the waves that the boat creates when on outside view... well... overall well done stage setting. Overall the first series that I kept watching after the first 2.5 episodes or so... WILL SEASON 2 EVER BE AVAILABLE ON ITUNES???

  • Out of synch

Halfway through episode one, season one the audio and video became out of synch. This lack of technical expertise degrades and diminishes the experience.

Very interesting television production of one of the best anti-war films made, It's not like the movie, but it stands alone on its own merits. Some contrived plots going on, but they are needed to drive the story forward. The actress who plays Simone reminds me of Meryl Streep, only she speaks three languages on-screen. She is an up and comer, watch for her in the years to come. I am on episode three now, I would prefer more under the water sequences involving the crew of the boat, it is called Das Boot after all. For now, I am enjoying what I am seeing, hope you do, too !
