I love the chemistry between Cole and Murtaugh. The show still has what it takes. The characters do a good job playing off of each other.

After Riggs, I hoped for the best, prepared for the worst and got the worst reboot of any movie I’ve seen on the screen. this is comparing the movie and the third season of Lethal Weapon. the chemistry and the tension, suspense of the Lethal Weapon movies does not lend itself to the Cole-Murtaugh dynamics that I saw in the Riggs-Murtaugh dynamics of seasons 1 and 2. since returning “Riggs” is not an option, I wish the series well considering I am apparently no longer a viewer of Lethal Weapon series 3. thank goodness i have Riggs & Murtaugh series 1 & 2 on my iTunes library.

I really miss Riggs, but still loving it
  • Damon Wayans ruined this. Unforgivable.

Too much ego and too little ambition, Damon Wayans ruined what could have been a fantastic and long running series. First he couldn't get along with Crawford, then when they pull of a miracle and replace him with someone decent, he quits after the 3rd season, ruining the future of the show at worst, and at least costing a LOT of characters their jobs. IDIOT. Wayans is the one that should have been kicked off the show, at least we'd have a show with a future and still have kept the best character.

I get that a lot of fans miss Riggs, myself included. But Cole's character is actually quite good and the dynamic between he and the rest of the cast is entertaining. I understand now that Wayans is leaving the show, which leaves the studio in a predicament they may not be able to solve. This aside, I'm enjoying all the fun and look forward to watching the rest of the season. On a final note, Rigg's character was really compelling in the first season, but with his new love interest and evolving character, that brooding alchohic with the chronic deathwish started to wane. Give Cole a chance. His character is solid, though the show, in general, may not be on such solid footing.

Better than original! With so many reboots, this unfortunately went sideways. But if you just watch a little bit more it does get better, including the stories and characters, "Cole" is a much better actor and doesn't have the annoying hair that seemly steals his scene. So, I'm going to keep watching.
